You teach. Bell & Flag keeps the books, materials, and family schedule together.

Enroll your children and choose a calendar. If the books are still on their way, use the five original Kindergarten starter days. They include the stories, words to say, activities, and materials. They do not consume your regular book lessons.
Check the editions on your book list, then choose “My books are here” on the starter page. The dated plan begins at the starting placements in Family. Keep the purchased teaching books open beside your plan; Bell & Flag supplies references and its own original teaching guides, rather than copies of publisher lessons.
Open Weekly view, gather the materials, and print the Teacher’s Reader and each child’s assigned copywork. Open the full science, citizenship, and family activity guides before their teaching days. Printing is available individually, so you can prepare just what you need. Children do not need a screen or a login.
The whole-family plan puts one child with you at a time, with familiar independent work or quiet play for siblings nearby. Teach the family opening, devotional, read-aloud, and shared activity together. A child’s own view keeps the same times and teaching roles. The 8:30 first bell is a suggested start: begin when your family is ready and keep the order.
Mark a star only after you finish a block. A blank star alone does not move the plan. Choose “Save for next lesson” on a subject you need to repeat; the rest of the day can continue. Mark a child absent in their own view when they are out for the whole day, or shift an untouched day for the whole family. Planned breaks extend the calendar. Individual absences and unfinished work add catch-up days at the end.
The standard plan contains all 112 indexed Saxon K lessons, OPG lessons 1–110 with 70 days of referenced phonics practice, all 81 indexed Zaner-Bloser entries, and 180 Bell & Flag copywork pages. Shared learning includes 36 weeks of original read-alouds, devotionals, science, citizenship, and family activities. A starting placement later in a book leaves more time for practice; it does not skip ahead into an unplanned grade.
School records shows the actual lessons you marked complete, with their book references. Download a CSV for a spreadsheet or a complete JSON archive. Starting a new year saves the previous year before resetting its calendar and placements. These are lesson records; keep your own attendance notes and follow your state’s requirements.
